The 23 year old rapper, from east London started rapping at an early age, making songs on his home computer as early as 10 years old. When he was in school he took a liking to music and would even collaborate with classmates. When Mad Lee left school he decided he would pursue music full time with the help from mentors, and released: La Costa Nostra the mixtape. After a lengthy break Mad Lee is gearing up for a 2021 return with an untitled mixtape.

Mad Lee was inspired to get into music from a very young age and this arised from the heavy influence from his parents’ musical collection as he mentions in a recent interview “Honestly probably my parents, my mum was always playing different music from artists such as Bob Marley to Dr Dre and my dad’s been a DJ forever so music was always in the house.”

Mad Lee has an eclectic taste in music and his early musical influences ranging from Jadakiss, Fabolous, Mase, Drake, J Cole, Giggs, Joe Black, Skepta and his recent influences are Hip-hop and R&B artists such as Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, T-pain, Jaquees, Ransom and Dreamville.
